Trying to change SAC rates

Postby robrey » Tue Jan 21, 2014 11:12 pm

My iPad version of Dive Pal won't "take" changes to the SAC rate while using the dive planning feature.

I type a number directly into planning column on left of screen, it changes back to a default. Same thing happens when I try to set the SAC rate using the custom selection on the settings menu.

I'm logged in, I have my basic and nitrox licenses.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
thank you for reporting the issue.

We will fix the issue in the next release of divePAL (in a couple of weeks)

Disappointed that many weeks have gone by, still I can enter a personalized SAC rate and have it "stick."

I checked the most recent update last week on my iPAD; this app will still not allow me to enter a custom SAC rate.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this simply not a feature of the app?

The default SAC rate used by the app is so far from my reality that it makes the app useless to me for planning and reviewing dives.

thanks
