UK Sites.

Postby airmixer » Wed Jan 19, 2011 10:21 pm

Would be nice to have some sites here in the U.K.
North Sea dark cold and cloudy. summer temps around 55 to 60F
Atlantic of Wales, around 60* clear most of the time and some good wrecks to dive on with some intresting sea life too!
English Channel cloudy some of the time, could be very cold at times but mostly warmish around 65* With sun fish, Basking sharks & conger's some sea horses in the rocky areas!
Lots of lakes and inland water areas too make for great diving!

We have some great U-boat wreck sites around the UK including 3 very close together off the north coast of cornwall that were sunk by mines. Not sure how hard it would be to get the info you need, but a U-boat wreck would make an interesting addition to current sites I think.

Hi eDiver.

I havn't forgot your request for Data for U.K Site's it just seem's that this information is very hard to find. There are too many closed doors here and very near impossible to gather any information on the areas around the U.K

I know that many of the current wreck dive site's are coverd by the War Grave law hence the cause of the problem.

How ever I will keep at it :?

Maybe Mac 69 or any other Diver here in the U.K would like to Help out ..Please Guy's!
