Downloading logs gets stuck

Postby tcoppola4778 » Fri Sep 06, 2013 12:33 pm

I finally got to use my Bluebuddy. I am in Hawaii and was able to connect and download the 1st log using my iPhone. The next day, I tried to download the second days logs but it got stuck in the middle of the download. I left it for 10 minutes and it was in the same condition. I tried to restart the download and it had the same result. I dove again and now have two logs that won't download. They get stuck on that same logged dive. The first dive was cleared so I just have the next two dives. I have disconnected the device and reconnected using the app with the same result. I have tried to change the phone's time zone as well,

Any Help?

Hi Tom,
I got your email too.

Something must have gone wrong with the flash memory in your bluebuddy.

Did you try running the Memory Diagnostic tool (bluebuddy settings--> Memory Diagnostic) ?

I am having the same problem with my galaxy s3. I can't even delete the logs and try to start from scratch. It says the app has crashed. I bough this phone specifically to use with my blue buddy. I'm beginning to think this will never work.

If you create a virtual log (see tutorial) can you then retrieve it?

Yes, I was able to download it the first time only. Unfortunately no success after that.
By the way, when I run memory check, it says it will run than screen blinks and no more messages after that.
